Gardening “Green

Gardeners throughout southern California are taking a fresh look at what a landscape ought to be - - and what many of us now want is a garden that is friendly to the environment, does not pollute the water supply, uses few chemicals and echoes our climate and lifestyle.

Gardening is changing. We are more aware today of what goes into our gardens (the plants, water, fertilizers, pest controls, etc.) and what leaves our gardens (water runoff, green waste, pollutants, etc.). We recycle our bottles and cans, we buy organic produce, we read ingredient labels and we try to live responsibly.

We desire to be responsible in our gardens . . . as in the rest of our lives.

Roger’s Gardens, its staff and its customers will be the leader of this new spirit of responsible, sustainable, climate appropriate gardening.

Roger’s Gardens will encourage and promote beautiful and inspiring gardens at homes and in our community, while protecting and conserving our natural resources.
