Christmas was in the air as two of the Radio City Rockettes danced into Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar on Monday as part of a weeklong promotion for the upcoming “Christmas Spectacular” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
Tickets to performances of the holiday classic, running from Dec. 13 through Dec. 30 in Segerstrom Hall, went on sale this week, with prices ranging from $25 to $75.
Autumn Withers and Alexis Thebolt were treated to a peek of
the decorated Christmas showroom at Roger’s. Withers, who lives
in Sherman Oaks, described her first visit to the garden store
as “amazing.” |

She described what she had seen to her mom as “so glamorous

Auditioning for the Rockettes in 2004 was a two-day affair. In

Withers was fortunate enough to be selected and has been touring
with the show for three years.
Performing at Radio City Music Hall, where the Christmas show
has been a New York tradition for 75 years, is special, Withers
said, but she enjoys being able to bring the show to cities
across the country.
Even more special to Withers is being in California with the
show this year.
“It’s nice to be close to home for the holidays,” she said.
