Children’s Heart Workshop: Ages 8 – 12, 10am – 11:30am
Children will create a custom Sweet Sentiment 2” Heart, the perfect keepsake
Valentine for little hands to make and give.
For the children, choose from:
• 5 confectionary heart colors, trimmed with a hanging ribbon in complementary shade. Heart Colors: Butter Yellow, Turquoise, Hot Pink, Lime, Coral (choose one at time of registration)

Southern California Gardening' & book signing with Pat Welsh

For over 30 years, Pat Welsh, has been inspiring Southern California gardeners by spreading her unique brand of practical garden lore through books, columns, talks, and TV. Even if you never before grew vegetables, Pat will show you how to grow delicious organic crops and have fun doing it. Despite the economic downturn and water cutbacks, you too can grow a bountiful harvest of summer crops and do so organically. Learn how to select, plant, fertilize, irrigate, and harvest summer crops and control pests and diseases in large gardens as well as small, without resorting to synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Even if the only space you have is a sunny patio or porch you can still have the fun of growing a few organic summer vegetables and fresh herbs. Pat will also introduce and sign “Pat Welsh’s Southern California Organic Gardening, Month-by-Month”, the brand new, all-organic edition of her classic month-by-month book, now in its 20th year in print.
