Native to most parts of California, this easy care plant is a must-have in a wildlife or habitat garden. Clusters of creamy white to light pink flowers bloom above thin stems whorled with long, pointed leaves. Tolerates a variety of soils including sandy, clay, and saline. The foodplant of the Monarch butterfly. Should not be planted on the immediate coast or where milkweeds did not naturally occur. Drought tolerant. An herbaceous perennial.
