The maximum trunk diameter for this stand is 4 inches and the trunk must be free of ALL branches on the bottom six inches. Advice: This is a quality stand, but do not underestimate the necessary size of your stand. Trees are often much heavier and with larger bases than you think! A stand that is too small can be a frustrating experience.
