Meet Our Creative Team
Eric CortinaEric Cortina has been with Rogers Gardens for over 30 years. He started out designing arrangements in the floral department and worked his way up to his current position as Creative Director and Buyer for Home Décor in the Gallery.In his position as Creative Director, Eric conceptualizes and sets the overall look, theme, and vision of the various departments throughout the year. A large part of this creative work revolves around the Halloween and Christmas presentations, which customers look forward to each year. Eric also started designing his own line of Christmas ornaments 12 years ago. The handmade ornaments have an old world look, and encompass traditional as well as whimsical designs. |
Emily MorganEmily Morgan has been with Rogers for over 16 years. She brings her passion to Rogers Gardens as the lead of the Visual Merchandisers, working with the team responsible for creating many of the props and displays for the Halloween Boutique.Emily not only is a lead creative for the visual displays of Rogers Gardens, she also has led seminars, workshops, and various “how to” videos throughout the years. She enjoys inspiring guests and getting them excited about decorating, especially for the holidays! Of all aspects of her position, her favorite is helping with planning the Halloween Boutique and building unique and delightful props for our guests to enjoy! Emily is also an artist with a love for making whimsical pieces that tell a story. Her art reflects her passion for nature, sculpting, and unique attention to detail. Emily’s designs range from a wide variety of sculpted spooky creatures to miniature scenic environments. |
Catherine SmithCatherine Smith is a perfect example of a rising star, as she has participated in many facets of work at Roger’s Gardens. Almost six years ago she was hired as a Sales Associate in the Garden Rooms and was then shortly promoted to Cashier Team Lead.She is now in her third year as a full-time member of the Visual Merchandising Department. This is her fifth year participating in the creation of the Halloween Boutique. She is thrilled to be an essential part of the merchandising team- helping transform spaces within a matter of days, building props and creating displays that showcase the product. During her time at Roger’s, Catherine has dabbled in leading succulent arrangement workshops, as well as a couple of instructional decorating videos. She loves the fact that her day to day work allows her to intertwine a variety of components- from home furnishings and gifts to living elements and seasonal décor. |

He gets his inspiration and creative ideas through his love for travel, visiting antique stores and spending time in the garden. |
