Jiagulan, scientifically known as Gynostemma pentaphyllum, is a herbaceous vine native to China and other parts of Asia. Often referred to as "Southern Ginseng" or "Miracle Grass," Jiagulan has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine for its purported health benefits. Jiagulan Infused Iced Tea

4 cups water
2 tablespoons dried Jiagulan leaves
Honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
Lemon slices or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Add the dried Jiagulan leaves to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low.

Let the Jiagulan leaves simmer in the water for about 10-15 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Strain the tea to remove the Jiagulan leaves and transfer it to a pitcher.

If desired, add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste and stir until dissolved.

Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the tea chill for at least 1 hour.

Serve the Jiagulan Infused Iced Tea over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
