Also known as a Japanese Green Bell Pepper. It is harvested before reaching full maturity. Japanese green bell peppers, known locally as "piman," are small, with thinner skin than standard bell peppers. They taste slightly sweet, with a mildly bitter aftertaste. The thin flesh makes it ideal for grilling, stuffing, and adding to stir fries.
