How to get your product
The Washington Navel orange is a classic, seedless variety with a round, somewhat drooping canopy, growing to a moderate size at maturity, typically 8-10 feet tall in home gardens (semi-dwarfs about 1/2 to 2/3 that size). Its fragrant white flowers bloom in spring, and the large, round, easy-to-peel fruit, known for its sweet, juicy, and delicious flavor, is ready for harvest from late fall to late winter or early spring in California. It is self-pollinating, meaning one tree will produce fruit, but bees can help increase yields. Washington Navels are sensitive to heat and aridity during bloom and fruit-setting, restricting their range of climatic adaptation, and they need protection below 28¡F. They are suitable for container growing and are a California favorite for their quality, flavor, and ease of peeling.
