The Lisbon lemon is a large, thorny, upright but spreading tree that produces several crops per year, with the main crop in winter and early spring. It has a very acidic, pale greenish-yellow flesh. It is low-seeded. It is the most vigorous of varieties grown in California, resistant to adverse conditions, and widely grown commercially.
