Spotlighting Our Creative Artisans

Scott Smith

While collecting and researching antique Halloween pieces, a door creaked open to reveal a haunting cast of characters who have led Scott Smith on an artistic journey for over twenty years. He does his best to put a personal spin on the classic themes of the past.

Vergie Lightfoot

Vergie Lightfoot’s original designs include a menagerie of playful and scary cats, a crop of bemused, and variegated pumpkins. Each unique piece receives multiple phases of work from pattern making, sewing and stuffing, to painting and finishing. With up to 18 layers of paint, it takes countless hours to give each piece its own unique expression.

Allen Cunningham

Allen works in paper-clay and his art dolls can range in size from six inches to twelve inches. Each doll is hand painted and clothing is made in a variety of fabrics, both new and antique. The dolls are often placed in vignettes that feature handmade or antique one-of-a-kind accessories.
