How to get your product
Mint 'Corsican' (Mentha requienii) is a miniature, mat-forming perennial herb renowned for its tiny, rounded, glossy emerald-green leaves and exceptionally strong, fresh mint aroma. This low-growing plant reaches only ½–3 inches (1–7 cm) in height, spreading widely via creeping stems to form a dense, lush ground cover up to 12 inches or more across. In summer, it produces delicate lilac or pale purple flowers, adding subtle ornamental appeal while releasing its potent scent when brushed or stepped on.
It thrives in USDA hardiness zones 6–9 (or up to 11 in some sources), preferring partial shade to full sun, consistently moist, rich, well-drained soil. Unlike aggressive mints, it's more delicate and less invasive. Culinary uses include flavoring crème de menthe liqueur, infusing hot/cold drinks, ice creams, desserts, and baked goods with its intense minty taste; it's also valued as a fragrant ground cover between pavers, in rock gardens, containers, or as an aromatic accent in herb gardens.
