How to get your product
Dill 'Fernleaf' (Anethum graveolens 'Fernleaf') is a compact, dwarf cultivar of the popular annual herb dill, growing to about 18 inches tall with a bushy, well-behaved habit. Unlike taller traditional dill varieties, it features delicate, feathery, fern-like foliage in vibrant green, slow to bolt (go to seed), making it ideal for containers, small gardens, or patio herb pots. This All-America Selections winner produces attractive yellow umbel flowers that attract pollinators and butterflies while adding ornamental appeal.
Dill 'Fernleaf' is prized in the kitchen for its fresh, tangy, slightly grassy flavor. The finely cut leaves (dill weed) enhance salads, potato dishes, yogurt sauces, fish, lamb, soups, and dips, while the plant excels in pickling for cucumbers and vegetables. Its seeds can also be used for seasoning breads or marinades, offering versatile culinary uses with a strong aromatic punch.
