Thyme ‘Pink Ripple’, scientifically known as Thymus praecox ‘Pink Ripple’, is a charming, low-growing perennial herb admired for its delicate pink blooms and fragrant foliage. This creeping thyme forms a dense mat about 1–3 inches tall and can spread 12–18 inches wide. In late spring to early summer, tiny rosy-pink flowers blanket the plant, attracting bees and other pollinators. It thrives in full sun and is well suited for USDA growing zones 4–9.
Perfect for rock gardens, pathways, and groundcover plantings, ‘Pink Ripple’ thyme tolerates light foot traffic and dry conditions once established. Its aromatic leaves release a pleasant herbal scent when brushed or stepped on. Gardeners often use it between stepping stones, along borders, or cascading over walls.
