How to get your product
The Owari Satsuma is a compact, slow-growing, cold-hardy, and seedless mandarin variety that ripens between October and December in Southern California. The fruit is bright orange, tender, juicy, and seedless with a balanced sweet and acidic flavor. It has a thin, easy-to-peel rind. The fruit should be harvested promptly after ripening as it doesn't hold well on the tree, but it stores well after picking. The tree has a slightly drooping shape and fragrant white flowers. It is drought tolerant, easy to grow, prefers partial to full sun, and low to moderate watering once established. It is suitable for containers and espalier training.Ê
